Installing the original Mugen Twinloop Exhaust

I read a thread where original mugen twin loop been install in a City .

they hv cut the original exhaust flange joint - midpipe flange, right at the flange . And made a new 2 bolt flange for both mugen muffler's end and stock piping's end . so in future if wanna inst

all back the stock exhaust , they need cut again and weld back at the point

the part of cutting the original piping , isit actually avoidable or not ?? anyone manage to do it less damaging ? Isit posibble to find a match replacement flange for mugen exhaust's side , fit it and just screw link it back to the midpipe flange side .. so no cutting done on original piping and stock exhaust ... so anytime can change back to stock , just screw back the flange

heard that the spring type honda flange is hard to get one , true ?

Koni Sport Spring on Civic ET2.0 : Part ll

For 2 days I've to bear with those 'noise' created every time i turn the steering . Huhh ! ...

Today , i'm meeting with a mechanic , who's recommended by Mr Big boss , the Eastern teames mod. The mechanic boss is friendly , easy going and very good at his works . First impression , with a slight turn and by one squeaking sound, he already knows the exact problem , diagnosed it confidently ; its due to wrongly placed spring and absorber . We spent nearly 3 hours there , the mechanic boss did it personally , to realign it one by one according to the original marking spot.

It was worth it , He really got it done . During the test run , the sound disappears .. plus the steering felt smoother than ever . Finally ..

The front Koni spring , got clear rubber hose on one ends to prevent spring knocking sound .

Overall , i pretty much satisfy and its perform at my expectation . The comfort level pretty much maintain , quite hard to differ from stock one . Even my wife and brother felt the same . Maybe a lil bit bumpy la , but its acceptable . Both of them agrees . Cornering improve . The most favorable part is how it lowered the ride . For front wheel , it lowered by 3 fingers making it only permits 1 finger btwn upper fender to tire surface . For rear , it lowered by 1 finger which is now only permit 2 finger tight btwn fender and tire . Even by this , carrying full loaded 4 adult passenger is not a problem .

On 16/2/2011 , i went for the installation at one of reputable suspension specialist (BS) in my hometown . At first the big boss seem to be very surprise after i said i want to install Koni Spring , rare he said . But being a specialist , i know he try to be as natural as possible and did the installation as usual . With 5 strong workers as healthy as a horse and a great working tools / machines , they only took 35 minute give and take to complete the task .

But once i drove out of the workshop , i notice theres a popping sound everytime the steering turn left and right even if the car didn't move . Initially i thought it just my feeling , so i drove to a tire shop to do the alignment and balancing , ignoring it . Surprisingly , the mechanic also notice it and complaint the same abt the weird sound , but he claim notting wrong w the alignment , it was something else .

40 minutes later , i drove back to previous workshop and complaint to the big boss . He took the key and tried the ride himself . Clueless , he ask his workers to open it up again for inspection and reinstall again . Yupp , he open up twice - 2 times . Arrogantly , he denies any problem with the installation process and put the blame on heavy engine weight plus the lowered spring might damage the front chamber already . He refused to touch the car again after the second installation process completely done . Thus suggest to seek other mechanics .

I'm very frustrated because even the 'suspension specialist' cant settle my problem . Lost my mood for my next mod plan , the Mugen twinloop exhaust . Duhh ... Gerammnye !

Puas mencari tempat makan di sekitar area S.Alam .. nasib baik GPS membantu. Dari luar , kedai makan di sudut corner lot ini , mmg nampak menarik. suasana romantik dgn lampu-lampu tungsten yg menerangi ruang perniagaan Slumber Restaurant. Nak parking pun senang dan luas, so no problem nak bawak geng buat TT.

Mmmh sesuai utk membawa teman atau keluarga dtg menjamu selera. Kami menjamu selera masakan panas bergoreng dgn air buah gelas besar, mmg best dan sedap. Harganya pun standard dan berpatutan. Cuma servis jer agak slow sket , maybe that day ada ramai customer. So kalu mmg not in rush , sambil2 sembang dgn teman mmg kira okeyla. Ruang makan juga selesa dan bersih. Aku mmg recommend la. Aku pun nak pegi balik kedai nie , nak try western food plak.

Duta Sand Beach Resort, Kuantan

This resort become our spot to stop in Kuantan. Abt 6 km fr Kuantan maintown, its on the main road to Kemaman, Terengganu. Its at Jalan Berserah, Kuantan, Pahang.
Luckily my wife found this online , and i got great offer fr hotelsclub member for booking it online. Even the receptionist here dont see it coming! .. hehe. Cant forget how suprise she was looking at my printout quotation.

It is spacious , good for family gathering , group or corporate meeting. Its clean and cosy. Abt 200metre to the beach.
There's “Beach Caravan Experience” thing , but its on renovation (base on internet) . But here , nothing done. The caravan just sits there aging.

Nearby got a nice sandy beach .. Love it

Trip to Kuantan 2009

285 km and took abt 3 hour of driving to reach. felt tired and become more adventurous w my 2 childrens, more difficult if both of them are awake, but what d'heck .. it is fun!.
the plan is to visit and to snap snap snap ! .. wanna sharpen up my skills , and try to do sunset/sunrise shot.

Cant remember when the last time i brought the whole family to vacation. SO i took this break and drove to Kuantan, Pahang.

I need help to build rig with budget of max around RM 4k . I'm really a noob on latest hardwares , last time i did it was abt 4yr+ ago, was using the same old P4 system until the mobo caput .. my main usage mostly surfing , gaming and photo editing ..

we stayed in tanjung biru condo during the visit to PD last week
i manage to do some research before going there ...
just to check out options of place staying there
but its true , seeing is believing !
well .. pro and cons :

pro >
-cheap / affordable - RM 150 per night ( compared to casa rocado RM 180)
-near seaside - pantai tanjung biru
-easy to park and just beside the room
-clean swim pool

cons >
-dirty , old furniture + rooms - i think they never change the drawer / air cond at least 20 yr !!
-dirty bed sheet + pillows
-the pantai was terrible , dirty full of trash - like nobody border
-no breakfast serve , not even 3 in 1 cafe packets
-some of the plug socket broken , water heater out
-no carpets - even if they put some , must be dusky smelly
-aircond problem

conclusion : think twice before go there !!

masa aku pegi ada 3 org amoi cina yg sangat hampeh .. masa promo bukan main baik , pijak semut pun tak mati ... nak bagi itu la ini la , plastic cover free, bole upgrade freela , hanset ori la .. semua mangkuk hayun jer ... sbb tanak kitarang lari , kutu tuh bg special price rm600 complete set model gambar sebelah tuh ... lepas solat , kitarang pegi balikla mcm dijanjikan . Sekali kutu tu duk promo2 model motorola la , nokia la .. questioning y kitarang nak sgt model SE tuh ...

then kecoh2 kata model yg dioffer rm600 tuh , local made , bateri tahan sehari , no cabel , no memory card , charger local - basicly no warranty at all .. paling aku tak tahan dia buat offer memory card M2 yg 1gig RM 100++ , padahal kat tingkat atas jual less than rm100 .. aku siap tunjuk flyers lowyat lagi kat dia ... bangang tak ?? igt aku apa , baru sampai kat KL ke hape ?

apahalll??!! .. kitarang dah bengang .. aku mintak balik hanset lama + nak blah .. dia tanak bagi katanya hanset tu dah ada buyer !! .. korang percaya tak , aku baru je pass hanset tu setengah jam ... dia dah buat harta sendiri , gi jual kat 2nd hand kedai !! bangang giler !!

gaduh2 , barula kutu tuh ckp ... set RM600 tuh dah abih stock , dia kena bagi yg semua accesory ori .. harga baru RM660 , sbb tanak rugi punya pasal dia kelentong memacam ... sampai last , kutu cina tuh buat muka tapak kuali .. plastic cover harge rm5 pun tak nak bagie

aku terlupa to change my phone .. so after finished , immediately after i push the ON button .. tuit tuit u have message .. guess who - it was boss

rupanya , the bunker was fully loaded and busy that day ..
adala member aku sorang , she .. yes i mean SHE .. was supposted to go off at 3 pm
but seems that , i'm 20 minutes earlier .. sesukahati dia nak passover all those case to me
kalau korang bengang TAK ??...
i'm supposted to be there to help her .. so apa bezanya aku pegi awal ke lambat ..
dahla tu ... siap tinggal lagie 2 cases waiting 3 hours .. no clerking nothing

i'm sure korang agree w me , certain thing that happen esp in our life is cruel , not fair , hipokrit , selfish and rubbishhh .. Most of time , we cant do anything + helpless , and at last just let it go
thats y , i'm thinking about writing this blogs - to express myself peacefully ..
maybe this only hangat-hangat tahi ayam , but just let it be and see how long it survive
any comment .. or u have other brilliant ideas , kindly share
